Hello Sanjay! I'm Paul Podesta. I sent you a message on GrabCAD to ask you what fluidic effects you had modelled on my plane. Looks great, I just wanted to know what you had tested on it. I noticed for example, that there is a notch/hole at the top of the left wing, that definitely was not there when I made it. Did you add that?
Mr.Paul Podesta thanks for showing interest on my simulation. I have plotted the pressure distribution on the surface of the aircraft. I am not sure how far the results are correct. About the notch, i didnt create it. It has resulted as a result of poor mesh quality. I am a beginner in CFD. I have used STARCCM+ CFD code. If you still want to know more please fell free to ask questions.
I think for 305 m/s air speed. I have used thin mesh, compressible flow, K-epsilon turbulence model, segregated flow, turbulent flow, stationary.etc as physics for the simulation
I tried twice to put up a rather long post to give you a few pointers for surfacing in CATIA, but for some reason it says it has posted, then I check on another computer and it's not there. Is there a word limit for blog posts?

OK, the pressure distribution for what airspeed? And what elements did you use?

ReplyDeleteMr.Paul I would like to learn surface modelling of aircraft's. Any tutorial materials plz share.
ReplyDeleteHmmm that depends. What software do you use? I use CATIA for surface modelling
ReplyDeleteI use CATIA V5, but I just know the basics.

ReplyDeleteI saw the post It was there before with a video link but now it has vanished. !!0!!
